Fastest way to update multiple products at once. This is the recommended method for small to medium catalogs.
Recommended for stores with 1000+ products. Export, edit in Excel/Sheets, and re-upload.
Important: Do not rename columns, change headers, or modify the CSV format.
Pull existing HSN codes automatically if they're already configured in Shopify product settings.
Note: This only syncs HSN codes — GST rates must still be added manually as Shopify doesn't expose per-product GST rates via API.
For clothing or footwear where GST rate depends on the product price (e.g., 5% below ₹1000, 12% above).
GST Pro will automatically apply the correct rate based on product price.
Choose the right method based on your catalog size
Manual invoice edits: You can edit GST/HSN on the invoice print page, but these edits are not saved permanently and do not reflect in GST reports.
Effective dates: GST/HSN updates in GST Pro affect all invoices. Shopify tax changes apply only to new orders.
Custom products: Products not listed in Shopify inventory must be edited manually on the invoice print page.
